Prelicensing Course—5 Hours

This Class Is for Holders of Learner's Permits Only!

• New York State requires that all new drivers take this course before being able to book a road test.
• This course is held in a classroom and consists of lectures by New York State certified instructors and videotapes.
• We hold the classes in a large, air-conditioned classroom on the premises.
• The current fee for the class is $40.
• If you want to know the schedule for classes or make an appointment, call 718-547-3000.
• After completing the class, if you want to schedule a road test, we will schedule one for you for a fee of $20.

• This class is a New York State certified course that, upon completion, guarantees a 4-point reduction off any violations on your license that occurred in the previous 18 months.
• This reduction can help you avoid a license suspension. (11 points within 18 months results in a DMV license suspension/revocation hearing.)
• Completion of this class also guarantees a 10% discount on your collision and auto liability premium for up to 3 years.
• The current fee for the class is $50.00

Who Should Take This Class?

• Any licensed driver who may have incurred any violations against their license during the previous 18 months
• Any person who wants to reduce their insurance 10% for up to 3 years
• Any livery and taxi drivers who are required by TLC to take this class once a year
